Description: In the early 90’s, Ankhone started doing graffiti on the walls of his hometown of Grenoble, nestled at the foot of the French Alps. It is this mode of expression that led him to the benches of a graphic school, the École Supérieure d’Art Appliqué in Troyes. Having learned more institutional techniques and filled with creative fuel, he gradually transposes his pictorial and graphic work to painting, without ever breaking the link with graffiti, the culture that motivated his progression. Now a muralist, his giant compositions are fed with poetry and sensitivity while being impregnated with the knowledge of Fine Arts and the aestheticism of graffiti. By moving to Quebec in 2013, Ankhone became a reference
